About the Role

This isn't your typical desk job. As our Business Executive, you'll be at the heart of everything we do - supporting our Managing Director, driving business development and ensuring our recruitment process delivers the exceptional service our clients and candidates have come to expect.

This is a varied, hands-on position perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to make a real impact in the healthcare sector.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Business Development
You'll help identify new opportunities across Northern Ireland and the wider UK, supporting client outreach and tender preparation. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be key, as will conducting market research to keep us ahead of the curve in this competitive industry.

Recruitment Support
From attracting top talent through social media and job postings to screening and interviewing candidates, you'll ensure every healthcare professional experiences the Solos Smile from their very first interaction. You'll coordinate placements, maintain our candidate database, and be a vital link between our care assistants and the nursing homes that need them.

Compliance
Healthcare recruitment demands rigorous standards. You'll verify candidate documentation, manage right-to-work checks, references, and training records, and help maintain our compliance with CQC and RQIA standards. This role ensures every placement meets the highest regulatory requirements.

Operational Support
You'll contribute to marketing initiatives, prepare performance reports, and provide administrative support across the business - helping to promote the Solos brand and strengthen our position as Northern Ireland's people-first healthcare agency.

Who We're Looking For

You are ideally someone who has experience in recruitment, business development or sales, preferably in the healthcare sector.

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/recruitment systems

• A self-motivated, proactive approach to problem-solving

Desirable Criteria:

• Understanding of healthcare compliance and RQIA standards

• Previous recruitment agency experience

• Familiarity with recruitment marketing and social media
